Dr. Walsh was born and raised in Ohio and received his medical degree and PhD from Washington University. This was followed by an internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL and Ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute/Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Following residency Dr. Walsh completed his retina fellowship at Associated Retinal Consultants in Royal Oak, MI. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology he participates in resident education. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has been practicing in Tucson since 2009.
