Dr. Simar Rajan Singh completed his Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology (1st in order of merit) from the prestigious Advanced Eye Centre, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India in the year 2015. He did his fellowship in the field of Vitreo-retinal surgery and Uveitis from the same institute. His areas of interest are ROP and surgical retina. He was the winner of the All India Ophthalmology Quiz conducted by the All India Ophthalmological Society in the year 2016 and was awarded the “Best Post Graduate Thesis Award” in the year 2017. Dr. Simar also received the coveted Carl P Herbort Travel award by the Uveitis Society of India. He has over 30 publications and faculty talks to his name in the field of vitreo-retina and uveitis, including invited faculty to the Retina Sub-speciality day, American Academy of Ophthalmology.
